Heavy is my heart
Dull shines my soul
Shallow is my breath
Empty are my arms.
Silent are my lips
Vacant stands my body.

I wish to disappear into the wind
and blow through the universe
Slowly moving, searching, for
Your eyes, your smile, your laugh,
Reaching for
your hand, your face, your hug.

I just miss you
God how I miss you.
At times; this life is
Unsteady without you.
Some days, crying isn't enough
Some days, I must simply remind myself to breathe.
