Always There

I'll always be here through thick and thin.
You can come to me, I'll listen.
I'm your friend, I won't push you away.
When you need a hug, my arms are wide open.
When you need to talk, I have an open ear.
You're growing up and getting older.
Know that I'm always here, I'm not going anywhere.
Wherever you are, I'm there with you.
You're in my heart and my prayers.
Just know I'm here, because I truly care.
You're my sister, you mean so much.
Don't want to see you hurt or cry.
I'll wipe the tears, I'll get rid of your fears.
Want to see you grow up and achieve.
Just believe, have faith,
You can do anything.
You're beautiful inside and out.
You're smart and very talented.
You're many things, but most of all, you're my sister.
I believe in you, and know that I'll never stop loving you.

I lost my husband (Tim) in April of 2014. He died after 4 years of cancer. My four sisters and my mother came and stayed with me for a whole week. They stood by my side 24/7 with arms open for me to cry and hang on to. They were my heart and home for a long time. They gave me comfort. In October of the same year 2014 I was diagnosed with a very rare form of bladder cancer, and in stage 4. Before I had even grasped what was going on with my body; I took a leave of absence and was already on my way to Marion, Indiana with my sister (Shauna) and my mother (Doris, 89). We were on our way to my other sister's house (Glynae) and my sister (Lana) who lives in Marion, Indiana. My other sister (Janis) stayed behind (in South Bend, IN) taking very good care of my pets, house and any of my undone business.
On our way to the hospital 5 a.m. We were still all trying to grasp the future events taking place. Wondering how and why this was all happening. What was the outcome going to be. (surgery) my sisters and family waiting on the other side of life. Waking up in a private room. That is where I stayed for 17 days due to my surgery complications and recovery. BUT NOT ALONE. My mom and sisters were given a room attached to mine. My wonderful sisters and mom stayed with me night and day. Giving me tender loving care and so so much totally sincere kindness straight from the heart of their tired worried souls. Yep. Again, after they had just got done healing my wounds from the death of my husband, they were back at it again. Healing my broken body and giving me courage to stay strong and fight to get strong. AGAIN. My sisters, my mom, WELL JUST ABOUT THE WHOLE HOSPITAL FLOOR WAS ROOTING FOR ME..WHY!!!!! BECAUSE OF MY SISTERS. THAT IS HOW MUCH LOVE THEY HAVE FOR ME. I recovered!!
