Night Of Fright
Monsters stalking through the night.
Halloween is the Night of Fright.
Fear is what this night brings,
Along with many other things.
Halloween began as a holiday for individuals who practiced the occult. It has since turned into something completely different. Halloween is about the fun of dressing up and pretending to be someone else for a night. Trick-or-treating and children gorging themselves on way too much candy. Attending costume parties and the thrill of a good scare. Carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns and decorating homes. Halloween has become a celebration of Autumn. There may also be a sinister aspect to the holiday when children believing they are entitled to receive candy vandalize property.

My next door neighbor is a witch,
And she lives way down in a ditch.
Her clothing is a little strange,
Because she never wants to change.
I REALLY GOT SCARED OMG but YES this poem is really so so so funny.
It's very spooky on Halloween night.
The ghosts and goblins will give you a fright.
Watch your back, do not be blind.
It's really great! I was looking for poems for my daughter and this is amazing! It's wonderful!

Analysis of Form and Technique
Against the black void, looms the lunar sphere.
Hungry ghosts haunt, satisfied by fright.
Oh my! The children's faces blanch in fear.
And thus the small summit embodies white.
Halloween is nearly here.
I’ve got my costume planned.
It’s sure to be the most horrific
outfit in the land.
On one mystic, magic night,
Jack O Lanterns glowing bright,
kids with bags of candy sweet,
roam door to door and street to street,

Creeping, crawling creatures scurry in the night,
Rats and bats and spiders, nibble, out of sight,
Don’t look too carefully,
You’ll get a nasty fright!
Shiver me timbers, rattle me bones,
it's All Hallows' Eve, and I'm on me way home.
Home to me wifey, me Katy, me best--
been three hundred years since they laid us to rest.
On this night of spooks and gnomes
Of swooning leaves and cringing crones
Of legends told from ear to ear
Of shrieking cats that grin and sneer
You know you've seen it around before
Tailing your car to the grocery store.
Just out of sight from where you stood
That fleeting and unforgettable black hood.
