21. Summertime
Longer days and shorter nights,
Darker shades and brighter lights.
Louder music and wilder friends,
No need for pencils, no need for pens!

Who is that man?
Staring back at me
Is he a part of my past?
Or who I am destined to be?
Dude, I understand completely. Sometimes I don't know who I am or who I'm supposed to be.

a candle light burning inside of me
shadows bowing upon the walls illuminating us all
the laughter the pain
what do I gain?
Along this huge labyrinth
That we call life,
You will face great trials,
Adversity, and strife.
We may have the same eye's
but I use mine differently
We may have the same heart
A lot of people are treated differently because they look different or act different .A lot of people treat my friends and me differently because we are different and unusual.
From the very first moment I saw them all,
I knew that this was who I wanted to be.
With my eyes wide open, looking around,
"Does everyone else see what I see?"
My bedroom is my sanctuary,
my place to be me
The worries of the day
I really liked your poem! It was simple but I could get a lot out of it.
In the night they come and go
Making fun of all I know
Twisting time and thoughts and matter
And tell me I'm the Maddest Hatter
