A Mother's Love Forever True

Don't you know that I possess,
the deepest love for you?

For all my heart, my soul, my mind,
envelops the two of you.

I have always made a point,
to let you know how much -

The two of you mean to me
as my life you've truly touched.

There is no other love,
to compare this feeling to -

To help you understand,
this mother's love for you.

Even when I'm angry
and could turn my head and cry -

My love goes on enduring,
no matter how severe our trial.

I may not always like you,
or approve the things you do -

But write it down in your heart-of-hearts -
my love's forever true.
