Aunt's Can Be Friends Too!

I saw my aunt who I haven't seen in awhile
I thought oh great what are we going to say to each other
We talked and talked and we shared feelings that we had held in for a long while.
After she left I wanted to cry
she brought up old feelings that I used to share with my friend.
She brought back memories of my deceased friend
and then that's when I realized that she is best friend material.
The love she shared and the time she spent made me long for her all the more.
When you see an aunt who you haven't seen in awhile
or even if she lives down the road two miles,
give her the chance and time to become a friend.
It's really worth the while.

I haven't seen my dad side of the family in a long time but I took that chance into talking to them behind my mother back. I knew if I told her she would keep me away it's my choice if I want to see them not my mothers.
Now that this has happens I'm different, I'm happy and living my life the way it should be. I could not see my life without my dad and the family again.
Nobody ever forgot about me that's the best part. They all still thought about me and still loved me and I'm so great full for that. I think god for this blessing.
