Love Of My Brother

Angels in the heavens,
Bright stars in the sky,
Why does death have to make me cry?
His pain is gone, but the love for
My brother lingers on.

Jesus loves me, this I know,
But why does the pain have to hurt me so?
He gives me life and lets me live
Then someday soon it's all over, once again.

I see his eyes so dark and full of pain.
Maybe someday soon someone will take it away.
Take his pain and make him better.
But please, dear Jesus, let me have my brother.

This poem is exactly how I feel about losing my brother. He's been gone almost 3 weeks now. I would give anything to have my brother back with me and my family. Our parents had passed also, one in 2010 and the other in 2015. I also lost my boyfriend of three years, five months ago, and now I've lost my only sibling. I feel hurt, angry, lost, alone and confused. I keep asking why. Hopefully maybe one day I will understand why things happened this way. I loved this poem.

This poem is beautiful. It really made me cry. I lost my grandad on March 6th 2013 and that was one of the worst days of my life and I also lost my nans. One on the 8th September 2014 and the other on 8th January 2015. It was really hard. So I can't imagine what you were going through when you lost your brother. I am really sorry for your loss. I feel your pain

This poem is very sad that it made me cry I am sorry that you lost your brother and he would always be with you no matter what because he will always be in your heart. I lost a brother before I was born and my mom told me about him and I thank that he is with me everyday because he is in my heart and always will be just like your brother will be in your heart too.

This poem is lovely I lost my brother to suicide august 2007 coming up to a year the 28th miss him loads xx
