Inspirational Poem by Teens

I wrote this poem because I was feeling a little down one day, and sometimes I just need to boost my self-confidence, so I wrote a poem about it, hoping it could help other people as well. I hope you like it, and I hope it gives you a bit of a confidence boost.

Never Give Up

Published by Family Friend Poems December 2015 with permission of the Author.

Never give up,
Never give in.
Move onward and upward with strength from within.

Always believe,
Always look forward.
Never be the one who is seen as a coward.

Remember the past,
Look for the future.
Always remember it's often good to be obscure.

You are special,
You are unique.
To go far in life is what you should seek.

You are brilliant,
You prove to be amazing every day,
And there is someone who will love you in every way.

A nice poem! Hope and self-respect are from God and despair and self-hatred are from Satan. The following can be as a supporting idea for Becky's poem, composed by me simply in the form of pure iambic pentameter:

A nail would give a lesson well to men;
The more it's beaten, the more established then.

Dear Prisca!

Our experience of life has shown us that people usually get more disturbed or nearly disappointed exactly when they have only one more single step to win what they have long wished. That would be the determining point. The case has been more prominent when you've been waiting for someone whom you don't know when he or she arrives after a long while. At the last moment, you feel disturbed and almost decide to give up. I think this kind of feeling originates from Satan, the opposite force to make us withdraw when we are nearly at the end of the line since he cannot tolerate the winning, which nobody in the world can gain except those who remain patient enough and are going to have a great share of life just like most great scientist throughout the history. We should never forget that God only needs our true efforts and He will send us back the reward at any place soon or later since no energy is wasted in the world but changes from one state to another.

Best wishes!
