Ever since my first breath of life; not knowing what lay ahead of me
You have guided me through
Ever since the first time your hand was fitted in mine
I felt secure
Ever since the first time I heard the rhythm of your heart beat
It filled my heart with joy; and made tears fall from my eyes
Ever since I smelled your sweet, motherly scent
Ever since the first time I looked into your deep, beautiful, brown eyes
I can see the love inside
Ever since the first time I heard you say 'I love you'
Your voice remains in my heart and in my mind
For every laugh, every cry, every sigh, and every smile
The memories with you I shall treasure
For you are my one and only mother

I thank you, this day and forever.
