Family Love Poems
I Love My Family Poems
It is common misconception that love is developed with unconditional love and understanding. Well that is one kind of love. But how come there is often so much friction in our family relationships? People are always saying, "oh, my sister and I, we fought like cats and dogs". Friction in relationships is an opportunity to realize our differences and accept that although we can never fully understand each other, nonetheless we accept and love each other.

2. FamilyThe Importance Of Family
God gave each of us a special family
that we can call our own.
A family that loves us for who we are
so we would never feel alone.
They may not like everything we do
or everything we say,
but the beautiful thing about "family"
is that they love us anyway.
Sometimes we feel rejected
by people who do not care,
but our hearts are warmed when remembering
that our family is always there!
So hug them a little more often,
for sometimes we hurt the ones we love.
And tell them how much you love them,
for they were sent to you from above.Latest Shared Story

Poem About Power Of Love
time is lighter than a feather
through your fingers it slips
and after time and time
my jar of love never tips
for love is stronger than hate
it slaps it in the face
it's like an angel
but stays in the same place
for where it stays is in my heart
and my heart will never break
thy sorrow and sadness
to happy it will make
we all have invisible halos above our head
different personalities they give us
for I the god of love have love
are you the one with trust?
Poem About Mother Not Seeing Children Often
The little children scurry to play at a day so bliss
It was a moment truly missed
Dearest momma, please don't cry, it isn't the last you'll see them
She pulls out photos from the past
They won't forget, they won't cope, memories are always vast
What a rough day of play
Children smell only of perfume
Momma's covering her miserable smoke
Why must momma's distress resume?
Forgetting you is a cruel joke
Your nest will never betray
You're cracked up, just like an egg
It's not what you think, stop painting yourself gray
Momma please stop, I love you, don't make me beg
Poem About Love For A Mother
Mum, as from the start
I have loved you with all my heart
I can't tell you how much I care
There are so many things I would love to share
There are so many ways I could say I LOVE YOU
And I know you think the same too
I can't begin to explain how happy I am when I see your face
I'm so glad that I live at your place
I love that sweet smell on your pillow
It would be great to take a walk under the willow
Mum, I have so much love for you
But when it comes to other people there's only a few!!
The pleasure I gain
From being a Dad
Is down to my children,
All three that I've had.
The love that I cherish
For each one I hold.
Their eyes give a sparkle
like flickering gold.
I live for their presence.
I'd die come what may.
As the ground that they walk on
I worship each day.
My love just grows stronger
Each day that goes by.
I will love my three children
Till the day that I die.Latest Shared Story

Poem About Devotion To Wife
I promise my devotion, honest and true
I would give up life just for you.
I am at times without words to say,
But I never forget to tell you that I love you each day.
I was a child who had not much in life until one fall day.
That was when God sent me you and you helped me to find my way.
We were young, and I could not drive,
But just to walk and talk with you made me feel so alive.
I would place you on my shoulders and carry you home from school.
A half mile walk it was; I did it for love and not to be cool.
I would run from my home to yours every day,
And while I was running, do you know what I prayed?
I prayed to God that if I ran all the way
That God would make you my wife someday.
God did answer those prayers, it's true,
Because I was blessed and able to marry you.
Now here we are in trying times.
Please don't give up, let's pray and I trust that we will be fine.
I am so blessed to have known you in this life.
Please don't give up; I love you my wonderful wife.
We have been together in love for so long.
To give up now would just be so wrong.
Just look at our names, and it easy to see
We were meant to be together, just you and me.
To many, it's Pam and Dan; yep that's me and you,
But I swear, to my Pammy that Danny will always be true.
I love you Pammy, that can't you see?
Without you, my Pammy, there is no me.Latest Shared Story

Poem To Loving Wife Of Many Many Years
While walking through seventeen
I picked a bright red rose.
I was living wild and reckless; it changed my life, I suppose.
A blue ribbon winner with its brilliant flare.
Its beauty was enchanting like a breath of mountain air.
I kept it near my heart, red velvet all aglow.
Why God gave me this gift I guess I'll never know.
Withstanding troubled times and a heartbreak now and then,
But the rose never wilted amazing me once again.
Roses bloom in their season then die and fall apart.
My rose kept on living, rooted deep within my heart.
My days are growing short now; I have lived a fulfilled life.
The rose I picked when I was young is my fateful loving wife.
She gave me three sons and they filled my bouquet.
Pride and pleasure overflowed to see them blossom day by day.
We have grown old together and my heart is still elated after all the years gone by.
My rose never faded.

Wow ! Your father is blessed .. not all can express their feelings soo well !
Some can just rely on Google and search for what they want ! ..
It's just outstanding !!! .. I'm falling short...
I get a chill when I see you.
I have a tear run down my cheek.
I am scared you're going to leave me.
I don't want to close my eyes,
And I don't want to sleep.
I don't want to know what's going to happen,
If you go or if you stay.
Just know that I will always love you,
Each and every day.Latest Shared Story

Love For Father From Daughter
Ever since I was little you were right by my side
Even though it may not always have been the right decision you were always along for the ride
I never realized how important you were to me until I left home
Now my eyes light up every time that you call my phone
You and mom were so young when I came
I can't even imagine how things must have changed
You weren't like other young dads who get up and walk out
You stayed by our side without a doubt
I am so much like you in everything that you do
I have always been like that even as a little girl too
I remember getting up early and going to work with you all day
No matter how boring it was with you I would stay
It sucks that it took moving out to see how much you meant to me
It's amazing how much it made me open my eyes and see
If anything ever happened to you I don't know what I would do
How I truly feel is one thing I have never told you
All little kids have that one person they look up to
That one person that can do no wrong no matter what they do
You are my hero and you always have been
Not only are you my dad but my best friend
11. In Your EyesWhat Eyes Tell About A Person Poem
You can see all in a person's eyes.
Their pain, guilt, happiness, sadness, fear.
It's all there, if you just take the time to look.
In your eyes I see someone unlike any other,
A strong soul, brave, with a big heart,
Blessed with the gift to bring happiness and laughter.
With open arms embracing every day to the fullest,
A spirit fit to soar with the eagles, wild and free.
Never to let the impending day's work bring her down.
This spirit will live on forever,
In the eyes of your children, grandchildren, and so on.
You've given us all a gift,
The most wonderful gift you could give, your love.
And now, I see in my eyes a part of you,
Because you are in my heart forever and for always.
It seems like only yesterday
Our lives were just beginning.
Your love for us never failed,
Our hearts continually mending.
It is strange to watch the time fly
Before our very eyes,
Which reminds me of the blessing,
That we have you in our lives.
To have yet to feel the touch
That's as gentle as your hand
The closeness of our family
One could never understand.
As each of our lives
Continue to change,
Reflections of your love
In each of us remains.
You have pointed out the path
And led us along the way;
The wisdom you have planted,
We each still hold today.
You sheltered us through childhood
And saw us through today,
Taught us of the Lord above,
About faith, and how to pray.
One day we'll all be in heaven
Dancing on the throne,
Praising God for giving us
A family like we've never known.
No matter where our lives may go,
We will trust the Lord above
And through it all always thank him for our grandparents' love.Latest Shared Story

13. To My GirlsPoem About Mother's Love For Daughters
I look at you and see the thing in my life,
I watch you grow and wonder where are all the years going?
What is it you want to say but are afraid to?
I love you with all my heart and soul,
No matter what you do or say, you are a part of me,
And a part of me will always be there with you no matter where you go.
Just look at the stars and the same stars I will see.
Catch the falling star because that is sent to you from me.
You are both my world and forever will be!
14. JillianPoem On Going On Without The Ones We Love
As the tears fall down my face,
Without her I am so out of place.
As my chest tightens,
And my dreams frighten.
I can't breathe the air,
She doesn't know how much I care.
I love her so much, I love her so dear,
I love her with every little tear.
Without her I cannot bear,
Without her it is not fair.
She is my reason for living this long,
She is the reason I try to be strong.
I try to keep the hurt inside,
But it is too hard to hide.
I am lonely without her in my arms,
I want to keep her from all harm.
She is my little baby that I miss so much,
I miss her soft little touch.
Her little hand holding mine,
How it stops the moment and time.
Her little smile when looking at me,
Her little voice saying mommy, look, you see?
Her little giggle makes my heart skip a beat,
Her love for me lifts me to my feet.
She has been sent to me from above,
She is the only thing I need in love.
Soon enough I hold her next to me,
Soon enough she and I can be.
15. A FamilyPoem About Family Life
A warm welcome
A how do you do
Words of kindness
And comfort too
A perfect little unit
So happy all in place
Show each loving face
Discussions of your day
Saying you need not be thinner
Making that frown go away
Before going to bed
A goodnight is always said
A family we'll be
A family, you'll see
Today I woke up
And said a prayer for you
I prayed that you'd forgive me
For all the stupid things I do
I prayed for a love to find you
A love so pure and true
A love that will never die
Like the love I feel for you
I said a prayer for the ones you love
And the ones that love you
I prayed that you'd see the sky
In all it's beautiful blue
A prayer in my mind
A prayer in the air
A prayer soaring up
without a care
I made up my mind to say a prayer
Each and every day
A prayer that you'd find happiness
in every single way.
Love Of A Father And Husband For His Family
If I took the time to list,
all my loves in life.
I'd start with my moments,
with my kids and wife.
Summers come and summers go,
they seem to move too fast.
Life with them is so complete,
and I thank God for my past.
Sometimes when I'm at work,
and things are really slow.
I'll think of them at home,
and wish that I could go.
I'll watch them when they're sleeping,
hold them when they cry.
I'll always be there for them,
until the day I die.
I like to make them smile,
their laughter warms my heart.
I don't know what I would do,
if we were torn apart.
They're my greatest inspiration,
in everything I do.
I've but three words for them,
and that is I love you.
My life with them is like a rainbow,
arched high above a stream
My life with them is my version

18. For My ChildPoem About Emotions Of A New Mother
Scared does not begin to describe
how I feel inside.
I can just barely begin
to take care of myself,
how can I learn
to take care of you too?
I have no one to stand beside me,
to lessen the pressure
of raising you right.
Scared I will make a mistake,
scared I will not be able
to raise you properly,
but scared is not the only way I feel.
Happiness does not begin
to describe my joy.
I am happy because
you are all I have ever wanted,
I have waited my whole life for you,
my life finally seems worthwhile,
happiness at the thought
of loving you for a lifetime.
Love does not come close
to how I feel for you.
I will never leave your side,
I will always stand up for you.
All that you want or ever desire,
I will do my best to get for you.
No one will ever
take your place in my life,
no one could ever
be more important than you.
My darling, My child, I love you.
I woke up this morning and
pondered way too loud.
Will today be clear and sunny,
or like a nimbus cloud?
All of a sudden I realized,
this wasn't important at all.
In the big picture altogether,
this one thought seemed so small.
I thought then of my children,
and a smile came to my face.
The sentiment of my memories,
took me to a higher place.
Their funny little antics and
Had me laughing quite hysterically,
I began to cry.
I thanked God for my fortune,
and decided then and there.
Whether or not
rained or shined,
I did not really care.

A family is like a circle.
The connection never ends,
and even if at times it breaks,
in time it always mends.
A family is like the stars.
Somehow they're always there.
Families are those who help,
who support and always care.
A family is like a book.
The ending's never clear,
but through the pages of the book,
their love is always near.
A family is many things.
With endless words that show
who they are and what they do
and how they teach you so you know.
But don't be weary if it's broken
or if through time it's been so worn.
Families are like that -
they're split up and always torn.
But even if this happens,
your family will always be.
They help define just who you are
and will be a part of you eternally.Latest Shared Story
