Brother Of Mine

Brother of mine
I know sometimes I may whine
But deep down I really find you somewhat divine

You are smarter than you think.
Smarter than me - in some ways
Wiser than you know -
You have experienced pains and joys
Some twice your age have never seen
Because of all of this you are three times the man

Brother of mine
I could be no prouder
I could love you no more
I will always be here for you.
No matter what occurs -
No matter what is said or done
I will never be too far away
No matter the distance
You'll always be in my heart.

This beautiful poem touched my heart <3.
My little brother is a beautiful, smart, down to heart and funny individual who has touched so many peoples heart, even though he is BEYOND annoying ;)
He suffers from Autism, but despite that he has grown to be a person I always envied. Someone I wish I could live up to the expectations for his honesty, his bravery, his cuteness (: He is my little brother, my best friend, and I love him more then anyone

Well my brothers are amazing and complete opposites. I have great memories with both of them and I love them more every year. Oddly enough, this poem reminds me of both of them. I LOVE it.

Once my brother lost his best friend when he was fifteen he kind of went off the deep end. He was never home and picked up on drugs. He never paid much attention to the family. I saw how other brothers and sisters were so close and I always wished for that also.
It took over his life and it wasn't the same. It wasn't until he was almost twenty when he admitted he had a problem and wanted help. This poem is exactly how I felt at the time. Proud and I wanted him to know that no matter what I loved him.
