Heartwarming Poem About The Journey Of A Mother

This poem I wrote for Mother's Day because I had no money or a way to get my mom a gift. I gave her multiple poems, words-of-wisdom, and other linguistic gifts that year, along with a gift of my own creation.

Her Little Girl

She sees her little girl crying.
She sees her little girl walking.
She sees her little girl talking.
She sees her little girl playing.

She knows her job is still to come.
She knows she is nowhere near done.
Some days are better than others,
But all are never better.
She knows these days will not last.
These are the days that go by fast.

She sees her little girl learning.
She sees her little girl growing.
She sees her little girl dancing.
She sees her little girl loving.

Her little girl is growing up.
Her little girl really wants to get a pup.
She knows the fights are coming.
She knows the tears are advancing.

She sees her little girl driving.
She sees her little girl heartbreaking.
She sees her little girl crying.
She sees her little girl leaving.

She knows her job is nearly done.
She knows the worst is yet to come.
She knows the little girl is as good as ready.
She knows her little girl is going steady.

She sees her little girl going.
She sees her little girl choosing.
She sees her little girl falling.
She sees her little girl coming.

She knows she's done.
She knows her little girl is ready to run.
She knows her little girl will find him.
She just hopes he's not too dim.
She knows her little girl will always come home again.

This poem reminds me of me and my mom. My parents got divorced when I was 5, and I rarely get to see her. I know it breaks her heart to know I'm almost a grown adult before her eyes and we will never have that mother/daughter bond like what is in this poem.
