How Much You Can Love

I am a 24 year old new mom, my daughter Chloe was born in January. All I can say is that I am dealing with so many new emotions. I'm now understanding my own mortality and vulnerability that comes along with being a parent. Funny how you never realize how much you can love someone until you hold your baby for the first time!

Simplicity is what life was
Disarray is what it is now
Not a care in the world I had before
I am now blinded by love for her
I felt invincible, impervious to all
Now I stand vulnerable trying to catch my daughter's every fall.
