This is a poem I wrote in conjunction with my English 8 class. I feel that my poem offers a true example of a very simple acrostic poem for educators to use in their classroom.

In the winter
Cold and frozen
Icy like a skating rink
Covered with a shiny glaze
Lovely when the sun is shining
Extra long after a long winter
Suspended from the roof
