There are no hands more lovely
Than the ones that held you tight
And soothed you through the night.

There are no hands more fair
Than the ones that brushed your hair
And helped you dress with care.

There are no hands more sweet
Than the ones that cooked your meals
And tended to your needs.

There are no hands more dear
Than the ones that wiped your tears
And chased away your fears.

There are no hands more blessed
Than the ones that gave you rest
And held you close to their chest.

There are no hands more kind
Than those of your mother's hands,
The most lovable hands you'll ever find.
