You're more than a dad
But a kind, loving man

You showed me the ways
In which I stand

You taught me good from bad
And all there is to know

I love you so much,
And your gentleness shows

You care for me and love me so much
You watch over me with your gentle touch

You make me feel special
With all the love you show

Thank you, dad, for being there for me
Through the rough and so

You're not only my dad
But a best friend, it's true

For I love you so much
And this is from me to you

I miss seeing my dad when he's busy with work. I don't get to see him that often. He has a newborn baby daughter who is my stepsister. I wish I could see him more. I saw him once as he took me Christmas shopping last year for the first time in ages.
