Mother Death Poem

In Loving Memory Of My Mama

This poem was written for my mom whom I lost on December 2, 2018. After the loss of my youngest brother in August, my mom was so heart-broken that she couldn't bear the pain. She had a heart attack on November 29 and went to be with my brother on December 2nd. My mom was a beautiful person inside and out.

You had a
heart of gold
and a
beautiful soul.

You were
loved by
so many,
young and old.

If I had one
more day
to spend
with you,

I would tell you
how much I love you
and make all
your dreams come true.

You were more
than my mom.
You were my
best friend too.

I’m so lost
without you.
I don't know
what to do.

I know you’re
Happy; you’re
no longer
in pain.

You'll live
in my heart
forever mom,
until we meet again.

This poem put tears in my eyes. I can totally relate to you as I lost my Mom 11 years ago, and I still have tough days. She too was my best friend and my hero. My Mom had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. I miss her bug loving hugs and smiles. We used to go on yearly Mom-Daughter trips, and I really miss those times. Hang tough, your Mom is always with you and she is your special angel! This is a very heartfelt poem.

Thank you. We are in the process of moving, and I'm having such a hard time due to the fact that there will be no memories at the new house.
