Bullying Poem

I got bullied through the phone, at home and in school about my weight (I am under weight), I felt suicidal, and even tried, I now got over that, and I never want any one to ever feel the way I felt, I am thirteen years of age, and already, I have stopped 7 people from killing themselves, and helped them through the rough time. I know what it's like to have no one there, and to have a tiny bottle, getting less empty everyday, but, life goes on, and so should you. no one believed me when I told.

Don't let anyone drag you down. Just keep your head held high. You're perfect just the way you are! :)

just another day,
filled with regret and despair
why is my life like this?
it's so unfair?

those beautiful girls at school,
do they not ever feel like me?
or is their life perfect?
filled with laughter and glee?

why are they so mean?
so angry and tough?
all they ever do is send mean messages,
pull my hair, and steal my stuff?

my mum doesn't believe me,
she thinks it's all lies.
she knows me, everything.
so why is it such a surprise?

mum, can I tell you a secret?
yes of course dear, what is it?
I get bullied at school
you don't get hit, getting bullied is getting hit.

after some time,
you'll soon find
that when people say it so much
it gets trapped in your mind.

like a tiny bottle
stuffed up with feelings of hate
hate on yourself, your things and others
that tiny bottle, leaving you, in the worst state.

first happy, then sad, the depressed, then suicidal,
no one wants to feel like that
but unfortunately, 1 of every 10 do
I'm not pretty, I'm ugly, I'm too skinny, I'm too fat.

I am Lisa Marie Curley
And I hope no one ever has to go through what I went through
with a heart as black as coal,
and tears, ocean blue.
