My horse is there in front of me
Clip-cloppin' down the road.
He stops and flips his tail straight up
And drops another load.

They said I was an "old fart"
But I hardly think that's true

But my teeth and knees are new.

I was heading south to the city's biggest shopping center
To get a steak and other things that I could eat for dinner.
Then I noticed, luckily, I was nearly out of gas.
So, I headed for the Stall-Mart store out near the overpass.

Yeah, it did. It's called a cliff hanger, so all in all they did have a proper ending. *shrug
					Pretty little high heels,
How you look so grand.
I can remember when I wore you
And I could proudly stand.

So now he has had his eyes done,
and at last he can see,
but I was a bit worried,

Aren't they red, green and blue?
I know white, black and grey,
Purple, pink and yellow too.

I really enjoyed this poem because it rings so true. I don't know how people can tell the slight differences between colors. It's like a language I can't really understand or relate to.

Are you nobody, too?
Then there 's a pair of us — don't tell!
They 'd banish us, you know.

					I see you standing there.
I feel your eyes on me.
I resume my tasks, but there you are.

Little things and big things,

Abimbola,
You wrote it for leisure, but it is thought- provoking, leading up to the great ending, "taking out the soul."
(The soul realm consists of the human mind, will, and...
I've got my driving test today,
Am I worried? O sure, I would say,
And I know that I really look a fright,
I have not slept a wink all night,

I remember it well! You have captured it all beautifully. Very best wishes, Ann.
