Heartbreak Poem by Teens

Looking To Rekindle A Relationship

This poem is about someone who once broke my heart and wanted me back. I wanted him back too, but I knew my heart wouldn't be able to handle it, so I told him no. It hurt like heck, but I did it.

Broken Heart In Silver Moonlight

Published: June 2017

The full moon shines down upon me,
My new eyes seeing much more clearly.
I gaze upon my lover's face,
Much like crystalline lace.

"Love me, please," he cries.
"I wish I could," my heart replies.
It is torn in two;
No wonder why I am so blue.

He loved me so long ago,
Now I wonder how it was so.
