Heartbreak Poem by Teens

I wrote this poem when I was really angry at my exboyfriend. I really liked him. And I figured he liked me too, considering he asked me out in the first place. But he dumped me. And that was bad enough, but he didn't even do it. His friend did. So I cried for like an hour, and then I was like, "Why am I fretting over this?" If he didn't have the decency to breakup with me to my face, he was not worth the effort. I just want him to know how I feel.

Forgive And Forget

Our friendship is broken.
Though your words weren't spoken.

The message was sent quite clearly.
You left me weak and weary.

But why should I hide?
And keep it inside?

I want you to know.
Though it may not show.

You don't mean a thing to me.
You are not the man you're said to be.

The fall I felt from you leaving.
Was actually quite relieving.

I needed you at the time.
I was happy to call you mine.

But the times were wasted.
And I've erased it.

Because I can forgive and forget.
