In A Time Of Sadness We Bonded As One

©

Published: February 2006

As the rain came that night, the angels showered us with tears from the heavenly skies above and the winds blew and we smelled the ocean's air.

The next day still the clouds were in the sky, still we felt the sadness in our hearts.  And the tears in our eyes were there. Some sat alone, some talked, and some walked alone or with someone.

On thing I was told on that Friday by my loving wife Theresa.
Theresa and Julia went fro a walk down the road. There was a butterfly flying around as they walked down the road.  They stopped to look at the cows and the butterfly was still there.  The tears were coming from there eyes as they were thinking of ma and granny.  They also kept watching that butterfly fly around. As the butterfly was flying around it flew at Julia it touched her chest by her heart as if it was like a kiss, and then if flew away into the sky.

AS the night came again we sat and talked we were all still bonded in the sadness that filled our hearts with the loss of our ma, our granny, our sister, our aunt, our friend, and most of all pa's loving wife.

On Saturday we bonded again and shared our feelings of ma tears filled our eyes and our hearts. But knowing now she is with god in heaven, her pains are gone, but her love fills our hearts and minds forever.
One thing no one can take from any of us ever.

Ma will be missed dearly but our love for her will live forever.

Ma, I love you and will miss your presence on this earth.
But my love for you will never die I love you Ma.

Love, Wade

My mum sadly passed away on April 2nd 2014 after giving cancer a good kick up the backside for as long as she could, she fought with every breath and beat it and it came back for round 2. She continued to fight but with every day that passed she lost a little energy, her strength, courage and bravery will be remembered by those lucky enough to know her. She was an inspiration and what she has left behind is a very inspired family. She Is missed deeply and loved dearly. If I had one wish, I'd have her home for just one hour, to remind her how proud we are and how amazing she was.
Good night Mum x
