Oh Dear Lizzy
you've grown up to be
a lovely young woman
so special to me.

You're so sweet and so cute
and also so charming,
but when you were small
it was quite alarming.

While you started out
at four and a half pounds
now standing five foot, six inches
I also have found'

that you've got so much to offer
your brains and your beauty
I feel as your mother
that it is my duty'

to love you and cherish
all the memories I have
of your life with this family
and the times that we've had.

So, remember Dear Lizzy
you're my shooting star
you are so determined,
I know you'll go far.

As you go on life's journey
I hope that you find
nothing but happiness,
you'll always be mine.
