  1. 41. The Strength Of One Woman

    • By Glorimar Fontanez
    •  Published by Family Friend Poems August 2006

One woman leaves behind a legacy that will never be lost, for she touched so many.

    in Funeral Poems

She played a different role in all our
    lives: a mother, a sister, and a
grandmother. No matter, what the love
we have for her is one. Ask anyone,
they'll tell you the same; she brought
us joy when we had pain. The strength
and love of one women held all of us
together even more now then ever. She
isn't physically here, but we still
feel her near in every step we take
and every move we make. What she's
giving to us no one can ever replace.

  4. 43. You Are Enough

Along the way I have learned a tough lesson: even in my imperfection I am still worthy of love, someone’s time, and a consistent feeling of wholeness.
My value is not connected to perfection, strength, or my ability to weather a storm. Which means that even on those days when I struggle to show up or feel ill-equipped, I am still a woman of worth and value

    in Inspirational Poems

    You are enough
You have always been enough, and
    You will forever be
    Enough

    no matter what you see
how you feel, or the lies you may
    believe

It is all about encouraging a women to come out of her cage and work for upliftment.

    in Poems about Life Struggles

    Come on, women!
    Must rise to the challenges
    Of your enhanced responsibilities.

    Yes!

    We are already stronger.
    Never feel blue.
    Break the myth.
No force can barricade a determined woman.

    Come out of your cage.
    Bear the pain
    Like you do the stilettos.

    Wear your elegance every day.
    Start rummaging for your upliftment.
    Miles to reach acme.

    Heads up, women!

    Don't fear the fire.
    Be the fire!
