Heartache

I have had a succession of women in my life who were the wrong ones for my heart , each for different reasons. In the end they left me me scarred , scared , and weary of any who would venture near my broken heart. As I find myself having fallen for another and seeing her already drifting away , the old wounds open and I look for escape in the words of those who have turned the pages of the very same Bible of sorrow.
