Times have been tough, and things have gone wrong,
But the deep love we share has been there all along.
You say why go on, there's nothing that's right,
But we never give up; we continue to fight.

There's a light of love that gives us our sight.
Our hearts may get dark at times, but we know there is light.
We both have situations not fair,
But inside we get through them because of something special we share.

The trials make you aware of the way we feel,
A love that is not fake but so very real.
I know at times that it seems like a raw deal,
But we must get through these trails until we are healed.

Trials are not easy, and you feel there's no hope.
There are times when you feel you're at the end of your rope,
But you must go down deep in the pit of your heart.
Let it stop your despair and give a new start.

For true love for each other is a gift some never get,
So when that trial comes, don't ever forget
That there is a rare thing we share that had to come from above,
And those trials will end; what got you through was pure love.

Hidden in the questions,
we cannot find
the answers. They're are all hidden
deep inside our minds.
Hidden in our soul
is the life we try to hide,
but in time it will find you,
and it will release
all of its secrets hidden beneath,
so before it ruins the life you have made,
release those dark secrets,
and the memories will fade.
Hidden in our lives are stories left untold
of the things we didn't want them to know,
but once you tell somebody
and make your feelings known,
the struggle will be over
and you'll finally be home.

But she didn't want you; she was another man's wife.

She used you and left you a shell of a man.
I picked you up and gave you all that I can.

I give you my all, and it's never enough.
Reading the memoirs you write for her are extremely tough.

I hate a woman I've never even met.
She took the best of you, and left you a wreck.

To her, you were merely an escape and a fling.
The day she abandoned you, then you felt her sting.

But why spend so many years trying to turn back time?
I've got the punishment for another woman's crime.

I hate myself for being second best.
I should have left you alone and searched like the rest.

But for you I felt pity, I saw a person to heal.
But my emotions are wasted, you don't care how I feel.

I should feel loved, wanted and desired.
Instead I feel lonely, weary, and tired.

A few words of wisdom to my younger self,
It's better to be left up on the shelf.

Don't put up with less than you deserve.
You should always be a priority, never a reserve.

Why do I stay when I want to go?
Is it because I have hope?
Or maybe it is because I don't want to be alone.

Why do I stay when I want to go?
Is it because I have hope?

I stay and all I do is complain.
Complain that I might be going insane.
Insane of the thought that it might be my fault.

But who is to blame?
Is it me or is it him?
Neither one of us will go.

Although we know we must go,
All we do is ignore the pain
Of all the words we exchange.

I know I must go, but I don't know.
If I go, I will be alone.
But why do I stay?
Only to hear him say,
"You're to blame for all my unhappiness and pain."

I know I'm not to blame for the choices he has made.
So I stay, hoping he will grow,
Grow in love and be consoled knowing I will never go.

Sadness in her eyes, his disappointment deep inside,
they both feel the need to die.

they do love each other; it's just their evil clone.
They say to one another I love you so,
and throughout this struggle there's no letting go.

I'm that girl and my boyfriend's that boy,
and now we hope life we can enjoy.
We try our hardest not to fight,
and in the end hold each other tight.

Because love is both wicked and good.
I just wish from the start we understood

For the things that we go through behind closed doors,
make me crave you, wanting more.
But in the end it will be just you and I,
as the moon rolls in and brings the tides,
as the sun dances about the sky,
radiant of warmth, beauty, and light.
The cold moon chases the sun,
hoping to catch a glimpse of its beautiful light,
but is forever condemned to dark of night,
giving meaning to the passage of time.
Each giving their best til each day is done,
the moon will never stop craving the warmth of the sun.

Everlasting til death do us part,
For you are the one whom I have devoted my heart.
For I am the moon that moves your tides,
and you will always be the sun that dances across my skies.
Though you may not see me, I am always there,

Seeing me, brought a smile to your face,
Still I'm not sure what happened,
But that smile has slowly erased!

There once was a time
We would communicate so great,
And I still cannot figure out,
And can only hope it isn't too late.

Maybe it's me and the way that I act?
Maybe it's you from the way that I react?
Maybe it's the drugs, starting to take effect?
Maybe it's just me, feeling the neglect?

I care more about solving the problem,
And less about whose fault
Because this is literally driving me crazy,
And I am ready for the end result.

You took my hand as I took yours,
and quickly one year turned to four.
Ups and downs, with a few bad falls.
Being with you seems like we've been through it all.
And now we sit here on opposite ends,
with so much love for each other but just friends.
How did we let everything go so wrong
when the connection between us is so strong?
Your love is like poison, I've told you before,
a poison so strong, my heart hits the floor.
But you always come back to pick up the pieces
to put them together and make it complete again.
Now I'm afraid you won't come anymore,
just walk away and close the door on this relationship
that we've built, free of deceit, free of guilt.
My time with you I've always cherished,
but with time those memories will perish.
This is your choice you will see,
