1. The Life Of A Cupcake
They put me in the oven to bake.
Me, a deprived and miserable cake.
Feeling the heat, I started to bubble.
Watching the others, I knew I was in trouble.

I like to read and write poems because I find a lot of truth in them and you can put pretty much anything in them. I tend to write down my emotions so the words just kinda flow right outta me.
They put me in the oven to bake.
Me, a deprived and miserable cake.
Feeling the heat, I started to bubble.
Watching the others, I knew I was in trouble.
I love this poem so much, I love to bake!! This poem is my top favorite to read and laugh for. Thank you so much for this wonderful and delicious poem. Hahaha.
I could ask you to stay,
But there's really nothing left to say.
This breakup has been emotional and long,
He was so perfect in every way and I love him dearly, but towards the end things became so toxic. We no longer had the passion, respect, and the abundant love we once shared. This poem...

The animal I really dig,
Above all others is the pig.
Pigs are noble. Pigs are clever,
Pigs are courteous. However,
This is an unanticipated and unexpected poem. Though the title sounds childish, it is a complete transformation of the story Three Little Pigs! Roald Dahl has a creative mind which I...
Someday you'll miss me like I missed you.
Someday you'll cry for me like I cried for you.
Someday you'll want me back like I wanted you.
Someday you'll understand why you broke my heart when I didn't.
This poem reminded me so much of myself. I was a mess when my ex left me but then I cut him off and now he gives me sad eyes like he's so sorry but I don't fall for it, he hurt me too many...

Famous Poem
The most important thing we've learned,
So far as children are concerned,
Is never, NEVER, NEVER let
Them near your television set --
Could the poet have foreseen a future where kids wouldn't even cluster around TVs anymore but appear detached, more alone with their phones? We've come a long way. The poem is funny, but...
My family's gone; there's no one home.
It's only me who's home alone.
I shouldn't hear a single squeak.
There shouldn't even be a creak,
This poem was so funny. It was also a little scary because he thought he was going to die, but then he remembered he had a cat.

I guess you think you know this story.
You don't. The real one's much more gory.
The phoney one, the one you know,
Was cooked up years and years ago,
Yes, Roald Dahl has a whole book of revolting rhymes like this one. You should read it. Hilarious.
Famous Poem
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
I remember hearing this poem as a little youngster. I would also read this to my daughter and nephews each year right before Christmas! It is a wonderful poem to share with your family!...
I've fallen in love- I don't know why
I've fallen in love with a girl with one eye.
I knew from the start. It was plain to see
I'm glad you're feeling more comfortable and have more hope. We all deserve to be treated equally in a nice manner. If you still are feeling uncomfortable, just don't let it get to you. If a...

As soon as Wolf began to feel
That he would like a decent meal,
He went and knocked on Grandma's door.
When Grandma opened it, she saw

Famous Poem
In England once there lived a big
And wonderfully clever pig.
To everybody it was plain
That Piggy had a massive brain.
I like this poem because it is contrary to what is normal, as the pig tries to eat the farmer instead of the other way around and it shows the power of humans over all other living things....

They do it without realizing,
They don't really have a clue,
Reading between the lines,
Is something they just can't do.
Well the poem is funny though to some extent
There're many women I have met
And loved throughout my years.
Some provided joy I'd get,
But most provided tears.
Bravo! I think there are many who find the humor and honesty in these lines!
You will not believe it when I tell you now
What happened last night, more importantly how.
My husband and I traveled right 'round the globe
Great read, great laugh, loved it...
What a journey it must surely have bean
Blown away on a mattress in full steam
Seeing places you've not bean to before
O'er wild windy turbulent...
Alone in my darkness I still see your face,
sometimes your presence and your warm embrace.
I look 'round the house; it's calling your name,
but nothing I see here quite feels the same.
in Breaking Up Poems
With all of my heart I love you.
I honestly, truly do.
But with every angry word spoken,
I become more resentful of you.
My horse is there in front of me
Clip-cloppin' down the road.
He stops and flips his tail straight up
And drops another load.
