This poem is for my mom, because I want to tell the world how blissful I am to have a wonderful gift from God. Even though I am not always a good daughter, still she loves and accepts me wholeheartedly. Her love for me is endless.

Every day and every night
you give to me all your love.
You run to me

The warmth of your touch

that God will take you away from me,

your undying love for me.

Your love molds me
to become a person with morality.
Sorry for all the times
that I just made you cry.

To all of my imperfections,

My mother took care of my sister Kelly (who was paralyzed in a diving accident at age 16) for twenty-five years. The doctor did not expect my Kelly to live for 6 months. When she died, the doctor called my mother and said, "I didn't think Kelly would live 6 months, there is no doubt in my mind that she lived for twenty-five years because of your unselfish and unconditional for her." This is why my mom will always be "My Best And Favorite Girl."

You brought me my first toy,
My first bike and baseball glove.
You filled my heart with joy,
And you filled my life with love.

My Mom

My mom raised my sister and me virtually on her own because my father was rarely there to help. We lost my sister and her two children back in 2004, and neither my mom nor I have ever been the same. Losing a sister, niece and nephew was devastating, but I cannot imagine losing a daughter and two grandchildren. Now I'm all that she has. She has been there for me through good times and the bad. I can't thank her enough, so this poem is dedicated to my mother, Stella. I love you, Ma.

When we are small, our mothers are everything to us. Her arms were made to cradle us and provide for all our needs. At first, we don’t want to be separated from her. As time passes, a mother helps us become more independent. Even in our teenage years, we still love our mother even though we don’t show it well, and we finally come to realize the wisdom she has. This is a great Mother’s Day poem that thanks her for her guidance and unconditional love. No matter our stage of life, whether an infant, young child, teenager, or adult, our mother’s love for us is unconditional.
