On that beautiful white shore across the sea.
Yet I remember love's soft glow upon her face
And the feel of her touch and tender embrace.

When I am weary from the burdens I've borne,
And the path is unclear and I feel so forlorn,
I remember her loving support was always near
And her advice made the path ahead seem clear.

When I feel there is no one who seems to care,
Or when the heartache seems too hard to bear,
I remember how she always stood by my side
And would tenderly wipe away the tears I cried.

When there are moments of great joy and pride
And I wish my Mother was standing at my side,
I remember she saw more than I thought I could be,
And know I owe my triumphs to her belief in me.

When I reminisce about the things she used to say
And I miss her and think she is so far away,
I remember what she gave lives on through me,
And one day I'll see her on the shore across the sea.

She'll be the one with the prettiest
Smile.
Her angel wings she wears with pride,
And as she reaches out to greet you,
You'll see the twinkle in her eyes.

She'll be digging in God's flower beds,

She'll pick a single flower bouquet:
The beauty of God's red rose.

She'll be playing with the smallest angels,
Singing joyful games upon her knee,

Trapped with nowhere to turn, life is changing beyond my control,
causing this deep ache in the bottom of my soul.

Someone else is pulling the strings,

Trapped with nowhere to turn, life is changing beyond my control,
causing this deep ache in the bottom of my soul.

Someone else is pulling the strings,
oh to fly, oh for wings.

Escape, I want to dig my self out,
filled with despair, filled with doubt.

Mute not able to express,
this gnawing pain and feeling of relentless distress.

Tears that are not visible to the naked eye,
silent screams that no one can hear.

I try to speak but nothing can express,
this feeling of sadness and worthlessness.

Emotional pain, walks with me through the day,
and sleeps with me through the night,
leaving me depletes with no strength to fight.

Anger for not having the courage to turn things around,
keeping me anchored to this remorse,
not able to untie the chains and change my course.

False pride rules supreme,
always there to whisper in my ear.

Time, wasted and badly spent,
lots of hurt, lots to repent.

Solace, please come and calm my soul,
for this is what I need to make me whole.

Empathy, what I need is for someone to see,
someone to see the real me.

Love with no strings,
just giving generously amongst other things.

Words, when used as a weapon can cut like a knife,
capable of doing so much damage and take the joy out of life,

but softly spoken and softly expressed
can bring so much happiness.

Sometimes I feel lost in a maze of emotions,
where every direction feels like a dead-end street.
I feel so alone in my search for an answer
that I start to blame God for not meeting my needs.

Sometimes I feel lost in a maze of emotions,
where every direction feels like a dead-end street.

But God never promised that life would be easy,
for trials will come in different forms.
But He did promise that He would never forsake us
and that we can still have peace in the midst of the storm.

God's love runs deeper than the deepest ocean,
but He is not altered by the moods that we bring.
For every problem, He has a solution.
He is consistently working behind the scenes.

So whenever you feel like you're losing the battle
and you want to just bow your head in defeat,
remember, with God you are always the winner,
for with Him by your side, you will never be beat!

I don't know when it happened.
I don't know when she came,
But she's the one I always knew.
Grandma was her name.

I don't know when it happened.
I don't know when she came,
But she's the one I always knew.
Grandma was her name.

She taught me how to tie my shoes.
She taught me how to talk,
And though I can't remember,
I think she taught me how to walk.

When all the other kids in school
Would talk about Mom and Dad,
I wondered where my parents were;
That made me kinda sad.

And sometimes there were days I'd cry
Or hide my head in shame.
But Grandma took it all in stride
And loved me all the same.

She'd wrap her arms around me
And kiss me on the head.
She'd tell me that she loved me
When she tucked me into bed.

Being a teen, I remember the days
When being with friends was more fun.
And I wondered what it would have been like
To actually be someone's son,

To have a regular family,
Some siblings, a mom, and a dad.
What had I done to deserve less than others?
Sometimes I felt so mad.

"It's alright, it's okay," Grandma would say.
"One day you'll understand why.
Life just isn't fair to everyone, you see.
It's always okay to cry."

And when I went off to college,
I met the love of my life.
It was Grandma who was the first I told
That I planned to make her my wife.

Soon after I'd become a father,
For that I could hardly wait.
To have a child of my very own,
And to make my Grandma a "Great."

A little girl to share her name,
For all that she'd given me.
So much I owed to Grandma.
That was plain to see.

As time passed and life grew short
I hoped my Grandma knew
That it was her love and her support
That always got me through.

If I could tell her one more thing,
"Thanks Grandma," is what I 'd say,
"For loving me and making me
The man I am today."

I feel the warmth upon my face as I enter the land of God's good grace,
Friends and loved ones gone before, waiting here beyond the door.
With open arms they welcome me, amazement in my eyes they see.
They look so well and at their best, beauty beholds them, now they rest.

I walk across the grass so green, the greenest grass I've ever seen.
I jump and skip and bounce on air, it's almost like there's nothing there.
A sky of blue, not a cloud in sight, perpetual day, no darkest night.
Every flower is in full bloom, undefined colours of every hue.

The streams and rivers crystal clear, no rubbish or decay found here.
The sea is calm and turquoise blue, I long to test it, wouldn't you?
The softest sand beneath my feet, at the water's edge where they both meet.
The warmest waters gently flow, bathing me from head to toe.

A city built of alabaster walls, where translucent light illuminates the halls.
Theatres of music and concerts too, magnificent galleries for all to view.
Amazing sights for me to see, I just wander in, there's no entrance fee.
Libraries stacked with books galore, history, science, and many more.

The celestial sun does forever shine, it's a perfect temperature all the time.
Orchards here overflow with fruit, a taste in itself that is quite exquisite.
I'm told it will help my soul to restore, pick what I like, there is plenty more.
This ethereal plain is a pure delight, it's my new home, my God-given right.

There is nothing here to cause me fear, the Lord protects within his sphere.
An infinity of perfect peace, from the toils of earth I am now released.
I have landed on a higher realm, in perfect harmony to forever dwell.
So believe when I tell you my dear friends, you cannot die, life never ends.

God's love sets me free.
This is my victory song.
His grace is sufficient for me.
It is what keeps me strong.

For I'm no perfect man,
And on my own cannot prevail.

Had my share of heartaches,

The struggles may increase,
But it's no cause for alarm.
God's thoughts to me are of peace,

We have come together with our family and friends on this absolutely perfect day
To ask God if he could look after this princess as she goes on her way.

We pray that He will keep her healthy and safe and always be her guide,
And that he will be there for her when she needs him to be right by her side.

As we watch her grow and learn, I hope she always learns right from wrong.
May she be little warrior, brave and fearless, but at the same time, kind, gentle yet strong.

A woman's virtue is her wisdom and her strength.
She's poised, prim and proper, and always watches over her sheep.
See, a woman has the ability to get the job done, no matter the circumstance.
God equipped her that way and not by chance.

A woman's virtue is her ability to pray and cover her family without ceasing.
She knows that God's favor on her family's life is forever increasing.
So no matter the errands, the homework, or how she feels,
She covers them daily like their personal armored shields.

A woman's virtue is her ability to sacrifice herself and her time for her family.
Her ultimate goal in life is to see them succeed, and when that happens, her spirit is at ease.
She puts her goals and dreams on hold to make sure the family stands together boldly.
See, God made her multifaceted to meet every deadline, make the kids cupcakes, and to even plan while she's sleeping.

She can take blow after blow, yet have beautiful skin with a natural godly glow,
Like she's been through nothing.
But she'll be quick to tell anybody that her God is truly something.
She doesn't look like she's been in a fiery trial, because God truly keeps her by His side.
She knows that her pain is never wasted and it was never caused in vain.
She knows that one day a lost soul of a woman will come along for her to tame.

See, the kind of woman I'm talking about is beautiful, strong, and a weapon of mass destruction.
She knows the real meaning of spiritual warfare, as it is not just a song.
She'll tell that devil to get under her feet and will not ever accept any kind of defeat,
Because in due season she knows that she will reap!

See, that woman of virtue is YOU.
Can you stand to be empowered, to know your self-worth?
You're worth way more than you were ever told.
You're worth more than silver and gold.

See, God made you blessed and highly favored.

Her smiles and laughter have such a beautiful light.

She's sweet and kind to all that she knows.

Her heart gets bigger and brighter as she grows.

She makes the sunshine on the rainiest day.
She'll make you smile no matter what she may say.

She's an angel in disguise with the most beautiful eyes.
She's one of God's greatest gifts; she's a heck of a prize.

She'll help you with anything, she'll fix everything.
She's an angel, I tell you! Her wings are just hiding within.

She brings to the world beauty, love, honesty, joy, and grace.
She makes you realize it's such a beautiful place.

She makes everything better, whether it be talk, song, or even a letter.
She's a daughter with wings and she'll be this way forever and ever.

She shares her heart she shares her smiles,
and that is something you'll feel and see for miles and miles.

She sees a sad upset or lonely face,
best believe she's fast to take her place.

She'll always be there, she'll always care.
She's an angel, I tell you; she is very much rare.

She's my very best friend forever and ever until the end.
She is my daughter, you see, my daughter with wings!

Lord, at times we come to you, our faith is not as strong.
But in your loving arms we fall; you show us that we belong.

You carry us when we think we can't go any longer.

The love you have can only grow stronger and stronger.

With you living in our daily lives, you are the living God we praise.
Thank you for the goodness and showing us along our way.

At times we want to lay it all down to you, and at your feet we fall.
You show us there is a way and help us to give it our all.

You give us the faith to be stronger, even though we may not know.
The things that are not of you, you help us to let go.

You are my strength, my deliverer, the rock that makes me unbroken.
You lead me to be righteous with things I feel are all unspoken.

We pray for understanding, but sometimes we may stumble.
We look up to you for answers that our world may never crumble.

We know at that time you will be there to carry us through it all.
You are there to pick us up, even as we may fall.

Father, our ever living God, we ask you for your pardon,
For one day we will be with you, living in your heavenly garden.

Until then, Lord, thank you for all the many blessed filled days.
Keep us so loved and comfortable; we are at awe with you, just amazed.

Just between you and me, Lord, I'd like to say
It's not always easy to follow Your way.
I understand what you mean by the Golden Rule--
To create a good life, there is no better tool.

Just between you and me, Lord, I'd like to say
It's not always easy to follow Your way.
I understand what you mean by the Golden Rule--
To create a good life, there is no better tool.

Still, what if you've been taught to look down on others?
Do we want to believe that we are all sisters and brothers?
It's hard not to resent the neighbor next door
Who does so little work, yet has so much more.

There are so many tragedies that happen worldwide.
It brings much unhappiness - that can't be denied.
I sit here complaining when I know it is true
That all of those troubles were not caused by you.

Yes, it just seems to me, if I remember it right,
You did give instructions that could shed lots of light
On the way life could be if Your rules were obeyed.
What a wonderful world it could be if all prayed.

I'm glad of the chance to discuss this with You.
I'll try not to forget what I know I should do.
You gave me free will, so it's now plain to see
I will need Your help often, just between You and me.
